Almendra

Created for Flos by the Spanish designer Patricia Urquiola, Almendra is a modular lighting system whose shapes and colors are reminiscent of the almond tree, from which it takes its name. Its housing resembles the two shells of an open almond, connected by a central pin, from which the LED light is diffused along the entire open surface. An ambitious project in terms of design and materials, a synthesis of poetry and sustainability is made possible through creative design and cutting-edge technology.
